Thankful

I am thankful for many things. The biggest thing I am thankful for is my two year old son Jaxson. I could never have imagined how much one person could bring so much love and joy into my life. I always wanted children but when I found out I was pregnant I was very scared. I had a miserable pregnancy and did not enjoy one minute of it. When my water broke I was so nervous about what was going to come next, I was prepared but wasn't sure what was to come. The moment the doctor placed that little guy in my arms all the fear left and I felt nothing but complete joy. That feels like so long ago now. I can not believe my special man is already two. When my mom use to say how time flies I would just roll my eyes at her. Now I know what she means. I try everyday to take time out for just the two of us. I know I need cherish each passing moment because he won't always be this small and I will turn around he will be married with his own children. Just thinking about not being able to hold him everyday brings tears to my eyes. I am just so thankful Jaxson is in my life and I can't imagine life without him.

I am also thankful for my husband Jon.
We meet in 2007 in Morgantown WV, in a bar. We have been together
six years now. I am not always the easiest person to deal with and he has done wonders. Life is not always easy but together we have made our life work and have a beautiful son. I love just watching the two of them play together and listening to my son laughing. My husband is a wonderful father and I couldn't ask for anything more. I hope we have many years to come together.

My mother is my best friend. We have always had a great relationship. I am so lucky to have her in my life. Even though we live 2 hours away we still manage to keep a great relationship. She has done a wonderful job as a mother and I can only hope I am half a good as a mother as she is.

I am thankful for my job. Not many people can say that they enjoy what they do. I also work with a great group of people. In my line of work sometimes things can be very stressful to handle. Our job in healthcare also requires us to get up all different hours of the night if needed. My coworkers have a great personality and can always make me smile when needed. Not only do we all work well together as a team but we also do things with each other outside of work. Some days my job would be very difficult without them.

I try to live my life to the fullest each day and appreciate everything I have.
