WHEN THE WORLD VOTES, CAN WE RELY ON ONLINE VOTING?

The November 2000 presidential election uncovered all of the fallacies associated with many ballots and voting machines.  As the world watched for over a month, as ballots were counted and recounted, and as lawsuit after lawsuit was filed, it became evident that a new voting precedent was needed.
many people voting within many counties in Florida were made the topic of numerous jokes due to a discretion within their voting procedures, and the angry citizens of the United States called for electronic voting.

Now more than ever, technology is changing how we vote, express our opinions, and make decisions. As access to technology and the Internet has spread throughout the world, organizations are offering their customers new ways to make their voice heard, contribute ideas, and participate in elections and decision-making.  There is a suite of election services including paper balloting, telephone voting and online voting options to help you reach this goal.  these services are considered to be extremely secure and cost-effective platform to connect people, improve communication, determine organizational direction, gather information and foster a sense of community.  I know in the future this will be the way it is done, but with all the hackers out there is anything really secure?
