A Pet on the 'Net!

                I think I’ve heard it all now.  According to a story on the website Mashable, there is now a social media app specifically for your pets! It’s called Petigram.

Of course, your animals can’t literally get online, but it’s a cute little outlet for pet owners to connect with other pet owners. The app pretty much mixes Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. It allows you to like pictures and post on walls. You can find new friends, info on breeds, and learn where they can adopt new fur babies. To get more out of the app, there is even a Petigram website that you can look at more photos and get updates on all things pet. The owners/creators of Petigram say that it’s a fun way to connect with other and share your love of animals without worrying about the harsh business repercussions that could come with things posted on other social media networks.

Now, as silly as it sounds, I may have to look into this for my cat and dog. No, I really don’t have that much free time, but it sounds super cute. Even a non-animal lover snickers over funny pet pictures. It seems to be a trend that started quite a while ago, but it just grows more and more each day. Pets are even becoming famous. Look at Tardar Sauce (aka Grumpy Cat), Mister Ed, Lassie.... The list could go on and on.. Hopefully, one day, our pets won't take over the internet!
