                 How the number 7 has changed my life

     Seven is my lucky number.  Not in the way one might expect.  The seventh month of the year – JULY- is my favorite month of all.  Why you may ask?  No, it’s not the picnics, camping trips, or fireworks, although those are a nice touch, it is the surprise that God often has waiting for me during that month.  I began noticing the pattern after meeting my husband in July, 1998. 

                                  Top 10  reasons why I love July

1. I met and fell madly in love with the most wonderful man July, 1998.

2. Michael, the love of my life asks me to be his wife July, 1999.

3. We were married the following year July 8^th 2000.

4. Michael graduated college and we moved to Ohio for him to start      his first teaching job July 2001.

5. Our first child was born, Clayton Matthew Cale July 7^th 2002.

6.  Michael was able to get a job that he loves and still has today      teaching back home.  Our child would grow up around our families July 2004.

7.  After trying to have another child for 8 years, Colton Ray Cale was conceived (my miracle baby) July 2010.

8. At the same time, I was trying to decide what direction my career should take.  I was able to get     a job with limitless possibilities, stability, and wonderful benefits.  July 2010.

9. I am doing well at the new job and received a promotion July 2013.

10.  I can’t wait to see what July 2014 has waiting for me.

     July is a magical time for me.  I look forward to it each year.  Reality is though, God has surprises waiting for us each and every day.  They may not be big surprises that jump right out and grab your attention like the birth of a child or a new job.  Often they are more subtle, like the smile I wake up to each morning from the man I still love as much as the day we met, or the “I love you, Mommy” I hear every night after prayers.  Look for the surprises in each and every day.
