Patience is a Virtue... Except for Not

First of all, just let me say WOW! I knew that the majority of people were addicted to their phones, but holy crap! I can’t just narrow it down to one thing though. I’ll try to narrow it down though. The first, of the many things, that surprised me during this video is the fact that the number of iPhone sales outnumbers the birth rate. I guess after some of the other facts that are stated, it’s not so much of a surprise. The 10% who check their phones during that act, well, I’m sure that it has an effect on it! Maybe the fact that more people own a mobile than a toothbrush has an effect also. That’s a pretty gross fact. Not too surprising though, after I found an article a few weeks ago about waterproof cellphones. They are a big hit in Japan, because they say that the women love their phones so much that they will take them in the shower with them!

With that being said, businesses that do not have mobile priorities will be left in the dust soon. Even small businesses should try to use at least a small part of their income to be seen in the mobile market. It doesn't have to be a complete app or anything. Just having a good mobile site could have the possibility of increasing revenue and customers.

Everything is headed toward the quicker and easier way. It seems to take more time to actually find a computer, hope it has internet that isn't blocked, search something, and do what needs done. With a mobile phone, the internet is built right in there, so everything can be done on the go. Isn't that what the world has come to? No one wants to wait. Even I have more patience problems than I did 10 years ago.

  1. I am spoiled by my mobile devices, especially my phone. I am guilty of checking my texts, facebook, twitter, and email at dinner among other times I shouldn't. My children are the same way. Great post.
