The Federal Reserve, an institute that millions of American knows
very little about, yet controls our everyday environment by their
policies. The Federal Reserve is not a
branch of our government even though they have Federal in their title; many say
they are no more federal than “federal express”. Many of the economic problems of today can be
traced back 100 years ago to the creation of the Federal Reserve. If we take back control of the monetary system,
then we the American people can take back control of our country.
1.
The Fed
has caused an unstable economy- They create boom-and bust cycles in our
economy. The crash of 2007 was created
by fed due to their free money with interest rates set at 0.
2.
The Fed
ruins the middle class- There is a hidden tax that most politicians don’t
talk about, and that’s inflation.
3.
The Fed
is not Federal- We have no control of the group that determines the value
of our money. Wouldn’t it be nice to
know how much money we leant to central banks during the collapse of 2007, our
money.
4.
The Fed
upsets the economy- They create boom-and bust cycles in our economy. The crash of 2007 was created by fed due to
their free money lending system.
5.
The Fed
has too much power - Control of the money supply, they control the
purchasing power of our dollars.
6.
The Fed
has devalued the dollar- The dollar has lost 98% of its value since the fed
was created in 1913. This directly
affects savors, retired people and people on fixed incomes.
7.
The Fed
is Unconstitutional-The power to coin money is outlined in the United
States Constitution to only be handle the Congress.
8.
The Fed
uses a debt based system- For all new money that is printed into circulation,
there is debt tied to it. Now we find
ourselves 17 Trillion in debt.
9.
The Fed
bailouts- when banks made all the risky loans during the 2007 collapse, the
fed bailed out finical institutions such as Merrill Lynch and Bear
Stearns. Then these institutions paid
themselves bonuses, with our money!
10.
The Fed supports
big government- the fed gives the federal government a blank check to
support special interest and the rich.
The monetary system that is in place benefits the wealthy by moving the
money from the poor and middle class to the wealthy.
The issuance of our money is the single most important thing
that drives our ability to gain resources to take care of our families. "Give me control of a nation's money and
I care not who makes its laws" — Mayer Amschel Bauer Rothschild. We must put the control of the monetary
system back in the hands of the people, so we can control the direction of our
country and our lives.
