text messages

I knew that teens sent many text messages in a month, but 3,339 is crazy. I only send about 1,500 a month, and I thought that was a lot. I make phone calls to so I don't just text, if I find it a more lengthy text then I would rather call the person and tell them. But teens these days only respond to text messages. The cells phones are attached to their hips, and never leave there side, they even carry it to the dinner table and text there. I personally put mine away during dinner. I like to communicate with the people around me at the table rather than texting my friends, it can wait for about a half hour or more if it was really important then I guess they can call me and tell me not text me. The mobile phone is within reach about 14 hours a day. I would agree my phone is always with me, because I don't have a house phone my cell phone is the main contact. Texting can be useful in some situations, but not all.
