After viewing the video the statistics provided in it are
astounding and shocking, but completely believable. Everywhere I go I see
people on their cellphones, at work everyone is constantly checking their
phones for texts, call, emails, coupons, tweets, Facebook posts, anything you
can name, and they seldom engage 100% in real conversation because they always
have a distraction. I am amazed to know that more people own a cellphone over a
toothbrush, especially with the price difference! I also don’t understand how
their can be more cellphones than people. I understand the fact that some
people have two cellphones for work but I didn't realize that so many people
have multiple cellphones. I also wonder if they are counting all the cellphones
sold over the years, because I know that for me personally I have about four
old cellphones in my room just in case the one I’m using now breaks and I need
a temporary phone for a while. In the future businesses are going to have to
start using mobile apps and create websites that look good in the mobile view
because a majority of people are only viewing websites on their phones. Monday, November 18, 2013
