The top ten reasons I want to win the lottery!

Everyone wants to win the lottery, well except for maybe the top one-percenters, and the pessimists who see the glass ½ empty. You know the ones, “If I won the lottery the government would take half of it, so why bother?” Because you will still have the other half to spend!!!! But I have come up with a list of top 10 reasons of why I want to win.

10.  I can pay off my student loans and not have a heart attack at the thought of having a loan payment more than a car payment.

9.   I am a transplanted Southerner born in West Virginia. I have been here 35 years and still not considered a local. If I won the lottery, I could buy a big Southern Antebellum house and then there would be only hushed whispers I was not a true Southerner as I gave lavish parties.

8.    I would buy a beach house, on the beach, oceanfront, just for the parking space. If you have ever lived near a beach but not on the beach, you know how important this is.

7.   I could meet all my long lost relatives.

6.   I would never clean house again.

5.    Disney! I would do a couple of things Disney. I would rent out Disney World for a day and have a big party for all my friends. I would also buy a membership to Club 33 at Disneyland (Disney’s private club).

4.    I would give each of my siblings equal shares and eat popcorn as I watch to see who ends up broke first.

3.    I would take an entourage and go spend a month in Vegas renting out the entire top floor of the Venetian living like a rock star.

2.    I would then feel guilty and spend two months in an impoverished area building houses, schools and churches.

1.    To spend every waking moment with my wonderful husband! 

Seriously, though, I would ensure all my friends and family were taken care of, and start some charities dealing with animals and children. I would not be so greedy as above! I think most people want to win to make ensure the financial security of their loved ones.
