Only 14 hours a day?

The most stunning fact to me about the Mobile Stats Video – Mobilenomics http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRiwUCXPo8U&feature=youtu.be by Eric Qualman was that 10% of people check their cell phone during sex. But I won’t talk about that one… only to say they’re doing something wrong…….

I think most people in this society have their phones within reach every waking minute of the day unless they are not in the shower. My guess would be most people sleep in the same room they charge their phone at night. I have to admit I do not know how I ever lived without one now. What did we do before Google? How did we ever travel without knowing where the nearest Cracker Barrel is? My sister Mary works at the local hospital and hospital employees are not allowed to have their cell phones with them while they are working. She is fine with that, but it drives everyone else crazy! 1. I also constantly wonder what we would do now without google and being able to access information so easily in a matter of seconds! The other day my phone had died and I was in an area that I was unfamiliar with and I had no idea what to do. In a way I hate how dependent I am on my smart phone.
